KCS Calendar Update

Kanawha County Schools has been granted a waiver by the West Virginia Department of Education for the 180-day instructional requirement.

Because of this waiver, snow days that have already occurred this school year will not need to be made up. At this time, the last day of school for students will remain Friday, May 29.

If Kanawha County Schools experiences another districtwide closure between now and the end of the school year, the calendar could change. Should that occur, the district will provide an update to families and staff.
